Dear Diary LOL

This is my first post, so lowkey I am just gonna treat it like a diary entry, just public this time. It’s been exactly 6 months since I graduated, as of writing this. A lot has happened, and words can’t describe all the sorts of emotions I’ve been through. I did learn a lot though, and there’s so much more down the line. There are a few lessons that stood out more than others. I turned to music, the Bhagavad Gita, and a Gemini chat that’s definitely run out of its context window since about July, which I still use to feed my delusions. Down the road, you and I will both find it hilarious that I’m quoting rappers in this post.

I would like to start off by saying that the biggest thing I’ve probably learnt is to put myself first. This world isn’t fair, and never will be. Some people will only keep you close while they need you. As NAV (my alter ego LOL) says in Modest:

Imagine I tried to please all of the people that tell me that they do not like me

This is something for everyone to take home. Was NAV the only one who said this? Probably not, but this was the medium where I found it. There’s another popular saying, “A friend to all is a friend to none.” I think that applies here too.

Anyways, apart from the loads of life lessons that I will be sharing with you guys through music, verses, and other posts, I did discover a lot of different skills that I never knew I had. I came back to the West, attended a bunch of events, got some leads, interviews and whatnot. I realized I was undervaluing myself, and I just needed to be surrounded by people who knew what I was actually worth. I have found a part of myself that I lost for a while, and it took me a minute, but here we are. Better than ever.

A big part of my life now is just me, myself, and music. I would like to take a moment to anonymously thank the great souls that were there for me at my lowest, and best believe I’ll repay you tenfold when I’m at my best.

Just going to wrap up this post for now by telling you guys to go listen to the first 10 seconds of Free Promo by Lil Baby.
